Friends of the Harrisburg Library

Promoting and Strengthening the Harrisburg Branch of the Cabarrus County Public Library

Mission

We are a dedicated and committed group of individuals who, in partnership with our library, support the Library Bill of Rights formulated by the American Library Association, and work to strengthen the Harrisburg branch of the Cabarrus County Public Library.

What We Do

We help the library meet the literary, educational, and entertainment needs of the community through our service and our financial support.

We advocate to our county commissioners on behalf of our library system.

We sponsor special youth and family programs throughout the year, including visiting authors, performers, and holiday celebrations.

We provide the library with requested books and equipment.
